12U - Top Possibles? Who Knows and does it really matter? The top 95's are either playing 14U or not even playing at all so this tournament is not going to show the best Texas 12Us. I guess I could say that 95 Texas Elite, Freeze, SK Imact, Bombers 95, 95 Flame Throwers, Austin's Finest, and Austin Storm will probably battle preety good. 95 Glory (Gray) might be a surprise but we will see.

14U - Going to be a great tournament except that the Texas Peppers won't be there. Some of the top teams might be ( in no order)
American Freedom - Could win it
Texas Glory 94 - Always strong showing
94 Ft. Worth Batbusters - Strong team
Texas Elite 94 - Heard they added some strength everywhere
Round Rock Blaze 14U - Don't know much but they have a good track record
SK Tazers - Big and powerful
and
Deer Park TPS 12U or 95 Travelers could give some of these teams some great competition.

10U - Don't know these teams very well but Sweet Gold, 97 Glory, and 97 Elite look pretty good.

Opps... left off 14U Fusion(Sidwell). Great team but they won't be at the tournament either. If you ask me, 14U will be strong at nationals this year!

Don't leave out both the '93 Texas Travelers (formerly known as Splash) and the '95 Texas Travelers. The '93 T.T. has been around awhile and will be solid again this year. And the '95 T.T. team has added enough pitching to be able to compete and win with the 14's.

I haven't seen the 93's for a while, but the 95 TT's are going to be tough competition. Are they good enough to win 14's in that tournament? I personally don't think so, but they could place and are definitely in the top echelon of 12's. I put one of the older teams taking it- '93 Anderson Express, 93 TT, 94 BB-Montoya, Amer Freedom, Glory 94, but it will depend alot on the brackets. Remember too, there are several good 14U teams not going, so who knows.

I hope they (95 TT) make Nats, I would love to see them do well there.

I left off South Texas Elite as a contender. Didn't they win RM last year?

I agree, logic thinks that the older teams : 93 Travelers(splash) / 93 Anderson / American Freedom / maybe the Blaze (Prinzo) teams will be the top finishers. Not necessarily in that order either. But with most of those teams having to contend with freshman varisty and JV schedules, the 94's may have an edge this early in the season. Once Varisty and JV is done most girls will come back and play with their respective teams and it'll be tough to beat those '93 teams i.e. the HOF Quailifer.

Also, I think that Allen Spring Blast tournament has a stronger showing of teams than the Bomber anyways!

Bracket ought to be interesting.....they usually are for this tournament
Look out for the 94 Bombers team....sleeper.
93 T.T and American Freedom......favs. Look for 94 Batbusters to sneak up with 94 Glory.
95 T.T will give people fits......but would need a GREAT draw to place......probably best 95 team in tournament......thanks for playing up. The Stix 95 is pretty talented too.

I can promise the Texas Peppers (Hoskins) will NEVER go back to the Bombers tournament.... ever!


The field conditions were horrible - they flatly refused to allow a woman to bring in her daughter's MEDICATION into the ball park.

Well over 100 degrees and they would not resupply the TEAMS with water in the dugouts.

No collers allowed in the park.... almost ok with that - BUT - they rarely had cold bottled water to sell!

Other issues were present - but those were the deal breakers.

Completely agree with you both and I didn't even think about the 93's playing school ball. The Spring Blast is going to be TOUGH. We have DFW, East TX, Austin, AR, and OK represented. Can't wait!
