Any predictions on how this will change the 14u landscape for Spring?

Will 14u eligible teams stay down instead of playing 16u?

Will 12u eligible pitchers stay put instead of playing at 43'?

My bet is that 14u just got a little harder and the older teams will stay down.

I agree you will see more 14U stay down. Many 14U play up for the 43 feet to prepare for high school...typically they hit the ball better, but the true 16U team's dominate because they workout at school and are just physically bigger and stronger.

This is a good thing for 43 feet and 14U. You will also see more of the 12s stay at 12s so they don't have to pitch the 43 feet.
