Thnx, that's exactly the type of input we need. And yes, we're most definitely looking @ teams from OK.

99 teams for consideration -

These are teams that were at the top in their group last year and have either stayed together or combined pieces.

Texas Heat 99 - Houston (mix of Cobras, TPS and Kingwood Edge)
Kruzers 99 - Dallas
D-bat Black Sox - Dallas
99 Texas Bombers - Central Texas
Pearland Phantomz - Houston (if they are still one unit - the Houston guys would know)
99 Roughriders - Dallas

From Louisiana

Cenla Heat 99

There are several other teams that have reloaded so not sure where they are at this point. A little too early in the season to tell. Also, it would depend on whether you are allowing 98 players on the 99 teams (if you are splitting the age groups), as this would affect some of the teams. I do believe however the ones listed above are pure 99 teams.

GT Shockers 99 - Beaumont Area

They defeated TX Heat 99 the one time they faced them this fall and played Pearland to a one run game the one time they faced them this fall. They are all 99's with two 00's. They have played close in all games they have played this fall with the exception of Houston Mizuno and Cenla Heat. They are a group composed of last years OOC 99, GT Shockers 99 and one from the Humble Cobra's 00. They are a scrappy group of girls with a good coach.

GT Dad sound like you are trying to pump your team up and bring the Heat down. You might have beat them early but I'm sure it wasn't the same team that beat TPS 98. Right now teams are trying differant things to see what works. My daughters team has lost to Phantomz with our 2nd & 3rd string pitcher.....doesn't mean anything at this point. Don't pump your team up too soon... You might have a good team but don't go bragging you beat a team early in the season just to get yourself in a tournament.
I can see you going to this tournament for the "99"'s and if you lose you will just say well we have 2, 2000's so.....you know that's why we didn't win.

Since you brought it up, what was the score the second time Heat played TPS 98 in RM? No one was bashing Heat so no since bashing Shockers. I'm sure both are good teams and will fair well in the spring.

No bashing the Heat they have a strong team and will be a top team to contend with. I was just stating we have the POSSIBILITY of having a good team. We have lost to teams we should have beat too. The Beaumont area teams don't get mentioned so just wanted to toss the team name out there. No excuses when whe lose.
