San Antonio Firecrackers- 14U & 16U

by norcalfirecracker » Sun Sep 28, 2014 8:27 am

The San Antonio Firecrackers will be starting a 14U and 16U team this spring. We are directly affiliated with Tony Rico and the SoCal Firecrackers. We are not affiliated with Firecrackers STX. Our 14u team will be made up of mainly 2019's, but we will consider all 14u eligible players. The 14u will play mainly 16u tournaments, but will qualify PGF and ASA as a 14u team. Our 16u will be made up of mainly 2017's and 2016's, but we will consider all 16u eligible players. Our 16u team will mainly play 18u tournaments and will qualify PGF and ASA as a 16u team. My number one priority is player development and getting your daughters recruited. Our fees will be very reasonable!! Our tournaments will include Colorado Sparkler,Surf City Tournament and PGF qualifiers. Tryouts will be held in November. I will post dates as we get closer. If you are interested or have any questions feel free to email or call me.

Gabe, it must be a bummer to have to try to lay out your affiliations in a tryout ad. Especially when your email and screen name is norcalfirecracker and you are in Alamo country. Two questions for you.

1-Whats the problem with the STX crew?
2-Since you have that awesome direct affiliation that seems to be your big selling point, how many of your practices will Tony be present at?

Another Firecracker organization in Texas!? To be honest the Firecracker teams in Texas are mostly wanna be's. Some of the teams couldn't even compete in rec ball.
