I can add OSU, Belmont, and UT. A lot of coaches at the Friday night (or early Saturday morning) game between Aces and Impulse - very well played game. Rare to see coaches around at midnight...

Congrats. Strand 3 was loaded and produced 3 qualifiers. OK Diamond Girls qualifying week before helped take some pressure off that Strand.
Great job for 2 Centex teams, Bombers and Blaze competing against the talent pools of Houston and Dallas. That's very impressive.

Oklahoma Diamond Girls havn't Qualified yet. They came uop short in Arkansas 3 weeks ago and were in Wichita Kansas Qualifier this weekend instead of DFW and lost to MO Originals in the Semi Finals of Winners Bracket and then Chicago White Sox Academy beat them in 3 ITB in losers bracket game. So they finished tied for 5th, but only 2 berths in Wichita. Im sure they'll be in OKC in a few weeks.

I wonder if the OK Diamond Girls were weighing the brackets before deciding where to play. Their position in Dallas was a very tough one so I wonder if they decided to pull out. I hope we do not see more of that because the last minute drop gives that opposing team a big advantage and it is carried through to the loser bracket with another bye.

Did both tournaments have the same entry deadline? In other words, did they enter both tourneys and then wait for the draw to decide where to go? If so, I think ASA ought to put a stop to that. I know some people at Dallas were damn happy when they learned that team had bailed.
