HSE Cancer Awareness April 12th-14th

by WalkOffHomer » Mon Apr 08, 2013 12:48 pm

Always a pretty good draw to start off the Spring season. Let's post some thoughts, predictions, trash talk, or prayer requests here...

12u
Starting off, looks like Aftermath succombed to the pressure of cpbulldogfan and changed to the "A" tournament at HSE. And I see CP Bulldogs-Manhatton did the same.

Meanwhile, I am disappointed to see Hoosier Crush playing "B" tournaments. I really thought they looked pretty strong last Fall.

Pool play starts Friday night with a couple of good ones...Pool B has IN Gators 2000/Indy Diamond Chicks/Indy Crush 2000. These 3 will probably make a strong run Saturday and Sunday.

Good teams all the way through 12A!

Everyone will get some good early season work in!

Hopefully weather is decent! Been through some miserable HSE Cancer Awareness tournaments.

10GatorCoach,

You have had a lot of success! Do you fell like the front runner to Win this tournament?
10u ball lots of people tend to mention the 02Gators, Mafia Red, Indy Crush, Red Alert, Terror02,
Edgewood Blaze, Red Storm & Zephyrs here on HB!

What do you fill will a success full weekend and who do consider to be stiff competition? Is there a true ranking for teams at this level in the state? Well good luck to all in this Tourney
looks to be some great games!

Thanks Softball Dad!!

I coach the Gators 2001 not the 02 team.

To answer your question about a successful tournament, IMO that would be to play as hard as we can, learn something about ourselves, and get better in the process. Everyone is stiff competition in the 12A bracket!!!! All very good teams that can beat each other on any given day. I would have to say the Crush 2000 are the favorite as they have shown from day 1 in the Fall that someone is going to have to play very very well to beat them and even then may not get it done.

Good luck to all this weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Hoosier Crush, good for you all. I like this team. I'm thinking top four finish, minimum...

Does anyone know who the top teams should be this weekend at HSE n 12u? I've heard the Gators00 should be good. Also CP bulldogs will have both teams here.

I don't know a whole lot about the teams in the state yet but from reading the boards it sounds like the Gators teams are always strong. It sounds like they have a couple of strong teams at this tournament.

And I couldn't imagine a team traveling from MI to play unless they are strong too.

I can't wait to hear how it goes. Maybe I'll even spend an afternoon at the park watching.

Does anyone know who plays who and when yet?.
