Anyone know how the teams are doing at the Blue Chip? I see where a team or two is playing up.

I was there with my Portage 5th grade girls bball team. I wanted to watch some softball but was too busy with our 4 back to back to back to back games. How ofton do the 10's play there and how is the softball part of the facility?

12U Indiana magic went into the championship game undefeated beating the red storm in pool play and a bracket game. The red storm beat the magic in the championship game. I only know the top 4 results.

I think the Edgewood blaze won beating the mafia.

It was a lot of fun and has us very excited to get outdoors!!! The winner's bracket final between the Mafia and the Blaze was a heck of a slugfest. There couldn't have been more then a couple of strikeouts for either team. If there is a team with more power from top to bottom of their lineup than the Mafia, I haven't seen them.

10u Gators 02 played up in 12u for the 4th time this winter. Went 3-2 this weekend.
Pool games
Beat Michigan TNT Elite 5-0
Beat Blue Chip Blaze 7-0
Bracket games
Lost to eventual champions - 2nd year 12u Red Storm 2-1 in semi final game.
Won versus Shockwaves 12-2
Lost to Michigan TNT Elite 3-4 to finish 4th.
Pool games
Beat Michigan TNT Elite 5-0
Beat Blue Chip Blaze 7-0
Bracket games

Isn't Blue Chip a soccer field? Coming home from a weekend up there with no injuries is a feat in itself.

Great job playing small ball and putting pressure on them, hopefully the Shockwaves do a better job covering it next time. You are going to have a great season, no matter what. You have a really nice team.

Gators '02 certainly got the best of us this weekend. Coach Linton has a great bunch of athletic players on his team. We learned alot by playing them and certainly are better for it. Hopefully we get a chance again in March to measure our team's improvement. Same goes for the Indiana Magic...can't have the bases loaded twice and not score.
