Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread here but with all the tryout pages and such I couldn't find any worthwhile topics on the best places to go for getting college recruiting started. I have an incoming freshman so I know I'm early but I don't like to be caught unawares. Any suggestions?

Actually, you're not as early as you think you are!! Depending on the level you think your DD can or wants to play at.... Freshmen studs going to major conference programs will be committed by Summer!! It's unfortunate, but recruiting is happening so much earlier now. Get on the ball! Read Cathi Aradi's book, "Bible of Fastpitch Recruiting” and add 2-3 years to the timeline.

FC stands...Why? My run there is over! First time in 8 years I don't have one playing there! Jamie is an 8th grader and swims...no ball! Although i might go watch Gabbi...she's all they have!

Morgan has been working hard this off-season. She should contribute. We need to have a fc reunion!! Game #1 at home!!! I'll bring the "I luv Strick" signs!!

We host FC 3/26. Come on over and visit me down the 3rd base line. Perhaps you can give me some pointers on how to score against FC - I think we've gone over 20 straight scoreless innings...
And yes, most of this had to do with snoop's dd dominating us...
