Dreams 94 lost brooke to Shockwaves93. Last I heard is that 94 is still considering staying down at 14's.

One of the best pitchers in the state. (cough, cough) You don't get out much do you?

Dreams 94 had 1 shockwave 93, a pitcher!! Check your math. Anyone who has been deep into a National tournament knows you need depth at pitching! She only pitched in part of 2 games also! If you know Chris you'd know it is not about his ego!!

If Haley Chambers is not one of the better pitchers in the state as a very young 16, who is???
They did not "loose" Brooke to Shockwaves 93, She's been there since 10U!! Must be new to A ball!!

Not going to name pitchers, but in a couple of weeks, there probably is a team or two that has at least two better pitchers than Haley.

Good luck at the Monster Mash. You should do well against the other 1st year 16u's.

Also, there were at least two that played in for the Dreams/Shockwaves, Kalene and Brooke.

I definitely wouldn't look past the Explosion '93 team. We had them at our friendly this past weekend and they hit the ball well (can also play the short game..!)..They very seldom make mistakes on defense, pitching depth may be questionable. We split six games with them last year at 14u "A", and they definitely look stronger this year. Heard the Gators look very strong and should compete with anyone..!..........Now.., why would a team have two parallel rosters that just happens to feature some of the best players around from another team on the alternative roster..!?

It's Fall!! Teams have girls in other sports! It's hard to get a full team when girls have volleyball and such. Nothing that happens in the fall/winter will matter come june when the real teams show up! The best teams have athletes, not just softball players.

That's a good point.......I would go one step further and say all the fall and indoor tourneys are pretty irrelevant. We'll have to wait and see who's playing well at the end of June..! ;)

But obviously a team that has all softball players only, does have an advantage. More practice time in the fall (when it counts), without the distractions of half the team missing for VB or BB. More playing time as a team during the fall/winter.
