Now that spring has arrived in the Hoosier State, tournaments are moving to the great outdoors at last! (Although it's the third week of May and we're 10 degrees below normal!) So instead of trying to keep track of all the tournament results, here's what the Indiana Magic have seen so far in 14U tournaments.....
The Indiana Maniacs (Frazier) are a very, very good team with a pitcher who will blow em right by you, good D, and hitters who can place the ball. They play mostly USSSA so hopefully we will run into them only occasionally. The Magic has faced the Maniacs 4 times and yet to beat them.
The Indiana Pride are another good team who can hit the ball well. They seem to hit VERY well against the Magic, apparently. So do the Xplosion team from Coverdale.
The Indiana Diamond Chix and The Dreams 94 have a good history of winning teams, and this year's teams are also very good.
The Monticello Eclipse is a "B" team that is playing like an "A" team. Watch out for them if you draw them in your pool.
The Indiana Fusion is another "B" team with good hitting. You will need to score to beat them. The Ft. Wayne Fire 93 is another "B" team that plays hard and so will you if you want to beat them.
