Before you go there look at their website on how much they practice 10 yr olds. Tues, wed, thurs, and weekends are you kidding me .I think the IEE needs to read Sams segue post on taking time off and not over playing young kids.

Also carrying 98's including #1 and #2 pitcher. A 10U with 98's should be a fall 12U team or 98's should not be on team if staying 10U. IMHO.

Sure it's legal for another 3 months, but any team with 98 pitchers are doing 12U now and making the adjustment now. They do not want to go into January and start throwing the bigger ball and 40' whereas everyone will be months ahead of them. It might be normal in NoCal, but it isn't normal down here.

That actually speaks volumes.
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

Relative to the 98's who threw the 12" ball with mom and dad in July in prep for 12U tryouts this past August and now doing their first 12U friendlies throwing at 40' + 12" ball the 98's playing 10U now will be behind their travel peers come January. Sorry, you may or may not know Gold, but you don't know 10U/12U.

Shouldn't the bigger concern be the upcoming 99's who will not see the mound time in place of the 98's. It's not about the kids who are leaving in 3 months it's about the team you're building for next year IMHO. With 98 #1 and #2 pitchers the signal I get is #1)no confidence in your 99's so what's the future goiing to be when the first time they toss a true tournament is in the spring #2) No confidence in the defense plus #3) A win at all cost mentality in 10U.. Again JMO
