Who are the Top 12U Teams in So Cal

by USCpride » Mon Dec 14, 2015 2:56 pm

The end of the Batbusters Tournament got rained out. Our team(Corona Angel's 04) was down 1-3 with 30 min left when they called our game. So I Think that made us 3rd(not sure though they haven't done an order of finish yet) They did a coin toss for the Championship. Choppers won the coin toss against the Athletics.

It was strange though, slow pitch got on the fields as so soon as we left. I guess the tournament ran late.

Thanks USCpride! Great job on your squad making it deep into Sunday.

What team were you playing when your game was called and which Athletic team lost the coin toss.

Did you catch any good games?

It was SCA Angulo who lost the coin toss.

Too bad they couldn't have just made them Co-Champions.

They did. Someone just had to take the 1st or 2nd place plaque home so coin toss was decided.

We were both declared co-champs.

Just to clarify...Marty Tyson was kicked out of his OWN game, and made a fool of himself in front of high school aged girls, or was he coaching (aka: yelling at) a younger team and pulled his usual BS?

Still baffled as to how college coaches ever respect him...IMO, his kids get to great programs DESPITE him.

I'm so glad to hear that they were both declared co-champs. That makes more sense to me :) Thanks for explaining.. Those poor little Athletic girls had been waiting a while in the cold and mist to play their game. I felt so bad when it came down to a coin toss.

Congrats to both Choppers and Athletic's! Both teams were great!

From the Corona Angel's 04 :)
