That's called "advertising."

Unfortunately it looks like 5+ new 10U teams have cropped up, and just as unfortunate, the division will remain watered down as a result. :|

A big congrats to OCBB-Flores for winning, in impressive fashion, the Corona Angels Winter Classic Tourney this weekend! There was a strong field of 10's represented in this tourney and with very solid pitching, defense and some serious sticks, OCBB-Flores rolled over OC Elite in the Championship game. :)

Congrats Ladies! :D

This weekend the Batbuster org was well represented in the Corona Angel Winter Classic. Congrats to all 3 teams as they made the final four. Flores' team played great and took it all. Lujan's team was one play away from the championship but fell short. For a split 04/05 team they played great. Overall it was a great tournament with some pretty good teams.

Is that a knock on OC Elite or OCBB Flores. How does OCBB Flores control who they play. They play who's in front of them. The fact is there were 16 teams in a tournament and 1 team won. What does a "B" team mean? That they are just out of REC ? This is 10u travelball , arnt all teams just out of REC or 1 year removed from REC ? So are you saying the other 14 teams who didn't make the Championship game are "C" teams ?

"B" TEAM: SEE BRACKY RATING SYSTEM. NO KNOCK ON EITHER TEAM.

Well unfortunately Bracky Rating system hasn't graced us with his presence yet. I'm well aware of the Bracky Ratings, they have not been done in 10u yet. And no team has been rated A,B or C. But either way you can't control who is front of you. :D :D

Where do you find this "Bracky rating system"?

One for the Road...

Yes, a "B" team. OC Elite beat some quality teams ('A' teams) to get there, and OCBB-Flores beat them like they should have. Flores' team had something to prove to THAT particular team, and they did. ;)

Again congrats ladies. :)

It was a pretty good tournament! Not bad at all for the first one of 2015. There were a lot of talented young ladies out there playing hard and giving their best efforts!

Congrats to BB-Flores for taking the championship!

I was able to see a few of the games and I was very pleased with the level of play and talent on the fields!

All three
BB teams did great!
Flores took it all,
BB- Lujan gave a nice run and the players showed a lot of heart!
BB-Powell beat a pretty good Corona Angels team! Their #3 hitter hit a 3 run homerun over the fence the first inning! Corona Angels rallied a few times but came up short.

Corona Angels- they have a lot of athletes on defense, pretty solid pitching, nice sticks as well! They are for sure a team to watch out for.

OC Elite- Lots of heart, good defense.... I think they ride their #1 all the way! May need to pick additional pitching of to compete in future tournaments.

Overall congrats to all the players, coaches, parents on a fun softball weekend! Seems that it will be a very interesting spring!!
