Heard Julie sent out message there will be no fill in berths at 16u Nationals already 140 teams in.

That being said with all the postings for players why would any 16u team hog tie there players and go to Westerns. I could understand if your a no name team and ALL Freshman.

With over 200 college scouts At ASA Nationals and 0 non AZ CC at Westerns why would you hurt those young ladies.

If you want to hold on to your players find them a home for ASA Nationals and ask them to show you loyalty and come back next year. By holding them hostage your just pissing them off and there not coming back anyways.

Times are hard financialy for everyone why make them spend all that money and have to use pick up players for Western Nationals.. Berth can't go to Gold anyways..

According to the website there are only 60+ teams already in, as of 7/8/09. Did they add 80 over the weekend??
