by PrecisionSoftball » Mon Jul 14, 2014 10:38 pm

So Cal Sparks started in 2013.

An organization located in the Thousand Oaks area the direction of Coach Danielle Stewart-Bouman (2008 Olympian, Australian National Team, Hofstra Academic All-American).

So Cal Sparks now have 2 teams in existence (14U and 12U) and are looking to expand our brand over the coming years. We are seeking like minded individuals who have experience playing and teaching the game at a high level.

In just one year we have developed an organization based around action, not just words. Our players and coaches lead by example in professionalism, skill development and an overall high standard of play. We have been very successful in our first year of existence competing in the Colorado Sparkler, USSSA Nationals and obtaining a PGF berth. We are very proud of what this group have established to date and the reputation they are creating. We look forward to sharing our state of play with others, one based around fundamental learning in an appropriate environment to nourish the girls development as athletes as well as quality individuals.

Our programs aims to provide a stable environment where players can develop together under professional and objective coaches. Coach Stewart-Bouman aspires to foster a healthy pathway to high school and college softball with an emphasis on softball success and qualities that players can carry beyond their softball years. Those qualities include leadership, teamwork, commitment, positive attitude, respect, and communication skills. This learning environment will be based around respect, class, integrity and for the sole focus of making a positive impact on the lives of these young woman. If you wish to teach and continue to develop our philosophy then we would be interested in speaking with you.

Please contact Danielle Stewart Bouman for more information.
