For some reason and I am not sure why I have decided to drive to Colorado this year.

I don't mind stopping at a few places on the way and any advice would be appreciated. My fishing pole will be in the truck:) I'll bring a few dozen heybucket shirts. I like trading shirts for a shirt from your area.

If you want to buy a shirt $10 tees, 2 for $15

The brutal drive to Grand jct. Leave at 3am, pee in Baker, gas up Vegas, . St George late breakfast at Black Bear Cafe, drive to Grand Jct. and rest. Next trek is the easy one.
If St George is at diner time on the way home. The Gun Barrel is tasty..

The question is time allowed and route. Lots of good to great lily fishing along
the way and I might detour through Idaho and Utah if I had the time. The Sun Valley area in Idaho,is awesome as is many of the rivers in the Denver ! boulder area. If not an expert , it might be worthwhile to hire a guide for a day to learn the ropes, then spend and few more days implementing what you learned. The Platt river( can't remember if it is North or South fork is very close to Denver and can have great fishing.

Good Luck.
