Driving to Colorado

by Sid Barrett » Thu Jun 26, 2014 9:14 pm

Uno,
A few years ago we drove to Colorado and stopped at Glennwood Springs, based on a post from one of the bucketeers. Had a great meal and visited the grave site of Doc Holliday, who is buried at a cemetery there. The cemetery is a bit of a hike up a hill but the whole experience was worth it. Might be something you would enjoy??

Uno,
The hike takes about 20 minutes or so. At times, the trail is a little steep as you literally hike up the side of a hill. But again, the whole experience was worth it, particularly if you are interested in that time period.

Good luck with your drive and watch out for those Rocky Mountain Stoners... errrrrr drivers
