The Mizuno Pride mentioned here is Mizuno Pride '94. They finished high enough at States to qualify for Regionals. The Mizuno Pride you're thinking of is the '95 team and, yes, they have a berth to Marietta, Georgia from last year's 12u Western Nationals.

Look at the title of the thread. We're talking about 14u Regionals here.

what 8 from up north...

The 3 births from the Sacramento Assoc. went to Foothill Gold, West Sacramento Blast and Rocklin Hype 95. I only know the Hype are planning to go. Not sure about the other two.
