I heard the entire SoCal 12U division decided not to play anymore after getting thumped by Power Surge at States, and all the Daddyballers daughters will be joining the team this weekend. Is this true?

Partially true. Yes the entire SoCal 12U division has folded. But the good news is that the best daddyball daughters from selected teams have combined to play on one "Daddyball Select Team" team to give Power Surge some competition. Daddyball daughters unite!!!!
