Hey #1, I enjoyed meeting you Saturday afternoon... I met your wife earlier and she said she has "nothing to do with that site"   You guys ran a great tournament, snack bar was excellent, people were very friendly, and for DDDBG, no porta pottys... weather cooperated too.

Congrats to all the teams that qualified, and to those that didn't, keep chasing it... Saw a lot of great 10U softball over the weekend

I would've gone to State if I were Crunch. They would've qualified because they are clearly one of the top 10U teams and they would've had a shot to be ASA State Champs.

The snack bar food was unbelievable at winchester. by far the best food at any field this spring. And fruit bowl for the players. Wheatfield had good food but Winchesters pancakes, chicken bowls and asada tacos were "10" on the 1-10 scale.

I will be very surprised if Victory-MC doesnt place at the top at 10U ASA Nats. They looked as good as 2/3's of the 12U field this weekend at states with no one close to them in 10U.

Victory definately had one of those weekends, where everything worked right. All and all, there were some good games. I don't believe there was more than one beatdown. I think there will be a strong showing from SoCal at Nationals.

Victory was "lights out" in States. They scored 25 runs and only gave up 1!!! :D

They'll be running pulling sleds for that miscue in the top of the 7th of the Ship to give up the only run. They practice that stuff all the time, no excuses.

Ya, 1 run is unacceptable!!! Top of 7th inning... two outs, runner on 2nd... hit goes to 2nd... 2nd throws to 1st, runner is safe... girl on 2nd rounds 3 and heads home... 1st throws home, runner at 1st then heads to 2... catcher gets throw from 1st and realizes runner may be safe, so she throws out the lead runner at 2nd to end the game and win States!!! Great decision by the catcher, but that 1 run given up all tourney will get her 2 sleds at the next practice!!!

Do ya think we can get the Winchester snack bar people to go to Tennessee? I still can't stop thinking about those Tri-tip sandwiches!!!!

I do believe we can all breathe now (for one week-end off, anyway)!! States is over, the top team has been declared in the state, and it's hard work now for those girls to get hydrated and work hard, which I know Campbell will but higher than high expectations on them. Bring it home, Victory!!!!!!! I just hope I can be there!!! ;) If I can't make it, Lucky I'm counting on you to take lot's of pictures!

I'm sure those other ASA organizations will represent just like they did in Fresno and Las Vegas. :o
