Who are the best 10u teams out there!!!!!!

by chas04 » Sat Nov 09, 2013 2:34 am

Their website also shows that they have played some 12U games. Looks like they lost to Firecrackers 12U last weekend 4 to 2. How would you rank the teams playing at this weekends Firecrackers tournament?

[quote="chas04"]I was wondering why no one had them as a top 5 team in 10U. I was talking to a parent from Powersurge and they said have played Quakes Romero 4 times with both teams winning twice. How is that other Quakes team? Are they a true 03 team.

I'm not sure if the Quakes Wegner team are a true 03 team. As for Quakes Romero they aren't all 02's but I would say there top 5 players are 02's.

It's funny how so many people do not know what they are talking about. Quakes have 14 players and bat everybody at every friendly. Just for those people who think they know softball. There are 2-05's on this team, 4-04's, 4-03's, and 4-02's. The difference is that all of them can play. Our catcher is the best catcher out there an she is an 03. If you feel you're one of the top team out there in 10u then make the jump to 12 u like us. The difference is we will play hard and not make excuses if we lose in complaining about the teams or girls we play against.

In response to Quakes team: why
Play 10u ball in fall? If you're going to move up in 1-2014, make the jump now. If your "that good", don't wait! What will happen in 1-2014 when you play 12u with all those "true" 12u teams?

So what are team you from? It would be easier to know the audience to validate your team. BTW if you recall what I said earlier we are playing all our 05's, 04's an 03's to get them ready. Sounds fair enough to me. Win or lose you still won't hear us complain, true softball and baseball players call it showing it and the field not behind the stands.

So that must be a question for everyone such as Corona Angels and other teams/ organizations that have a website and post names. Not sure how you relate that to this discussion. It's funny though how many people have visited our website and why not create a website. I am not the manager but a parent and have been around rec /travel softball for a long time as a head coach and parent. You are right about this post being a good one but like everything else you will always have critics or should I say haters.

After observing several games this weekend, top teams are pretty evident:
1. Power Surge 6-0 (won in finals 5-2 against OCBB Garcia with only 1 earned run.)
2. OCBB Garcia 5-1 (lost in finals to Power Surge)
3.Pure Fastpitch out in 1st game of bracket play. Not a good weekend for them.
4.No Worries: couldn't hang with the more talented teams.
5.The Quakes: with their 02's, 03's, 04's, and 05's...couldn't finish against OCBB Garcia. Even with their 03 catcher and 02 pitcher.
6. So Cal Bandits: lack of experience was evident.
Other teams present: TNL, Nemesis, 3D...not much to say about them. Didn't see them play.

Yeah, missed the emails part but since you concentrate on that it is for the parents only on the team but itis an easy fix on eteamz to block out other visitors but I am sure you knew that already. But I amazed how so many people were interested in looking. Also, I would like to know what college recruiter will want to know what 10 u team any 10u player has played on- case in point a true 03 team. Really??? Come on give me a break. So when their daughter goes to high school are they going to cry because they have to compete with 18 year olds and they are only 13 or 14 as a freshman. But hey what do I know!! So Bridgette, what team are you from????
