Pacifica High School is proud to announce Mark Campbell as the new Varsity Head Coach.

Mark's coaching accomplishments are well known throughout the softball community and we are very excited to have him leading our softball program.

I hope so - they have 3 Juniors and 1 Freshman pitching this year, would be great to have two solid '94 pitchers behind the '92s who will be leaving after next season.

Yup, friends with two of the pitchers. They will need more pitching coming in, that's for sure. They always seem to get it though.

I'm not sure about the '95s coming in next year (Some good catchers in the 95 group from CA-Smith, OCBB and OC Wildcats), but there are two 96 pitchers currently on CA96 and the Firecrackers coming in and then the 97 pitcher from AA-Palomino behind them, plus others under my radar I am sure. So, (fingers crossed) they should be okay. They might get some transfers too, I suspect like Rob Weil attracted some good players throughout the district, so will Campbell.

Any of them pitch? I know a lot of the 96s and several 97s, but only a handful of the 95s. Once we left West Grove, we've lost touch with that older group of kids so I have no idea who's still pitching or even playing..
