Congrats to Cal Thunder for going up to Nor Cal and getting a PGF berth.

Also can anyone give me a heads up on SD Mystics. Heard they won a couple smaller tourney's

They just won this past Sunday's Wicked Spring Classic tourney. 12-2 over So Cal Choppers.

This is a 12u thread. While I think it is admirable of them to do well it does need to be posted on a 14u thread if they want props. Lots of 12u teams are playing 14u & doing well but you dont read about it on this thread.

Oh my bad, must of missed that in the rule book. posting about a 12U team on a 12U thread winning in 14U. I will consider this a warning on my part and wont do it again Wildcat

That grade scale was developed/used by the ranking guru, Bracketologist.

Only 1 B+ team, no B's and 2 B-'s? Seems like either someone is stingy with the grades or this year's top 12u teams are head and shoulders above the rest. Are TM-Briggs or SCB-Steele the only teams capable of beating the top 4 in a bracket game?

Bracky's keys to success at 12u Nationals:

1. One top 10% pitcher - must have the ability to kept her team in any game (cause everyone knows the bats will go dead during at least 2 games at Nationals)(with 1 pitcher team needs to stay out of the losers bracket until sunday).
2. Solid defense - must be one of the better fielding teams.
3. An offensive that has 3 threats (big bats or above good speed).

I heard that it was a very intense 1-0 game, that went 7 innings.
