TCS Tournament in Temecula

by vdog75r » Sat Feb 14, 2009 8:03 pm

What's up with Triple Crown having teams drive all the way to Temecula this morning to find out that the games were cancelled. A little consideration would of been nice to find out early Saturday morning before any of the teams showed up that the Tournament was going to be cancelled. We had to drive an hour and a half to get there to find that out. There were teams that showed up for the 8:00am games only to find out that there wasn't going to be any games possibly until 11:00am. Then about at 11:30am when the rest of the teams showed up they called the tournament off for the 12u A division. They told us that the fields weren't going to be ready until 5:00pm. They should have known early in the morning that the fields were not playable.

We are in the 14U portion, which is in San Jacinto. All games were played and bracket play starts tomorrow.

14's Played at The Oaks Soboba Sports Complex which is has synthetic turf outfields so they where not affected by the inclimate weather, I heard the 16's where canceled then ended up playing in Fallbrook on Sunday?
