If ASA is so terrible, why does everybody play there?
And if everybody plays there no matter what ASA does, what incentive do they have to improve?

It would take an impetus from the top Gold programs to break ASA's stranglehold. As long as they support ASA through the Gold program we are stuck with the product ASA puts out. ASA Nationals is still the best of the best and the top programs will continue to strive to reach their Nats. Look at TC, Utrip, AFA, etc. No matter how big they get they do not draw the top teams.
