What do you go to?????????????

That just took a lot of recruiting away from the 16u kids. Almost every kid on our team last year had interest from that tournament. We had more scouts there at one time than we did at all the others. So here is the thing. Do the teams that really think they have a chance at probably the biggest scouting opportunity (nationals) for 16u and go to states, or do teams that were looking for Triple Crown or Westerns just go to the JO Classic?

The question I have is this......I am under the impression that you have to play in State to qualify for Western's.....If that's the case, now what do you do?.....

Originally, I was planning on playing in States to qualilfy and attend Western's...I am already signed and paid for JO Classic in Vegas.......I had planned on doing all three.....If my team was lucky enough (Not likely though) to qualify for Nationals, then we go there instead of Westerns.......What an F _ _ k _ ng MESS......

So, now if you go to the JO Classic you can't go to States.....Does that mean that you can't go to Western's as well?

No States, No Westerns. I know of a few teams that are going to make other plans and travel somewhere else to play in lieu of Westerns or Nats., and will go to JO.

What if you send your money in for Sates and just not show and forfeit, can you still qualify for Westerns...
You can't go to Regionals unless you place top ?? at States

If you want exposure you to go Nationals! Been to both and out of all the exposure tournaments in all my older daughters years, perhaps besides CO, although I think its close, 16U Nationals had more scouts!!!! We never made it to OK, but went to Nationals every year she played since 10, and 16 was the best, just all around, regardless of exposure!! OK is more difficult now too! My two sense, the years go by so fast!! 8-)

Play State's - Goto Westerns (only State gets you Western's).

Finish top 12 - Goto Nationals.

Finish 13-20 - Goto Regionals (the only way to get to Regionals)

Finish 1-2 at Regionals - Goto Nationals.

The JO thing just became a non-event.
