Ditto! What a joke. One team earned a berth by drawing a first round bye.

So "planning" on trying to qualify for PGF which is the same week as ASA but trying to help another team get an ASA bid from a competitive organization is the way things should work? Shouldn't a team get themselves qualified with the team they plan on taking to nationals? That or is the plan really to have the coaches from one team take their kids to Tennessee with a competitive organization and then play TCS with their own team. Don't know what kind of message that sends to the organization, team or families. Wouldn't want to name the team but it does have a "cracker" in it and an LM in front. Wouldn't have been too happy if my DD was a pitcher or 3rd baseman sitting on the bench after the cash and time invested to that point.

It is official, the USA Athletic Organization has stepped up and removed both Coach Jr. And Coach Mario. Very sad that the remaining players are now left to find a coach. Nice to see an organization do the right thing and not put up with " what everybody else does." Good luck getting coach to comment...he is AWOL!

:o Whatever the case may be they could not get past the Corona Angels and the So Cal Wicked Acuna... ;) Hopefully they find a coach for the team, so the other players can finish the season...

Seems rash if done without having a plan to keep the team going. The coaches' kids are probably in good shape with the other team. Hopefully it works out for the remaining players.

Seems like they have the plan in place. Way to step up and do what's right USA Athletics Org!

USA Athletics 00-Angel (12U) is a TCS National Qualified team looking for a Pitcher and a Middle Infielder to complete their competitive roster as they prepare to compete in the TCS World Series in San Diego, July 8-13.

This team is being coached and managed by Melissa Angel, who is currently the Head Softball Coach at Long Beach City College and has been for the past 7 years.
