We have two weeks before ASA Nationals. It looks like a pretty good turn out.....almost 35 teams from many different states. I don't know about the rest of you but we are honored to be a participant and are pumped up to compete against formidable competition. SoCal will definately be representing well. Having a California bias, I do hope one of us wins it all. On behalf of my team, Power Surge '01, we extend the best of luck to all participants, wish everyone safe travels and enjoy all the experiences and lasting memories. It's going to be awesome. Is this true???? Did so cal athletics break up 1-1/2 weeks before nationals??? I heard this from a few of the parents on this team..... Hard to believe

Rumors have been going around ever since ASA States that this team was splitting up at THE END OF THE YEAR. I hope this is not true, because they are one of the best teams from SoCal. But I don't find it hard to believe. A couple of the parents they picked up this year have a reputation of being bad apples. No need to single them out everyone knows who they are. My question is why pick up these players, when you know their parents are trouble. Live and you learn.

We just competed against SoCal Athletics this past Saturday. I'm pretty sure they are still together. For what it is worth I did not witness any outside issues from their parents. Good solid team!

Thats too bad about So Cal Athletics because they have improved so much since I played them in the Fall. Good Luck to all the 10U teams at Nationals!

Pool play is over at the Triple Crown World Series. Looks like USA Athletics-Ramos, So Cal Choppers-Grey, and So Cal Heartbreakers all undefeated so far. Great Job.
