That's what Firecrackers-Lahners did in 2009 after finishing tied for 17th at State and also not getting a berth at HOF. They had to go up north to get a berth at the Regional.

The berth winners at SoCal State are never the top 12 teams due to the blind draw - and may not include all the top contenders either.

Being that Breakers Sieber jumped on board last minute, i'm going to take a wild stab at it and say...YES???
I believe onesdad or Luther can confirm though if it is so. :?
