Just in case the weather clears up by Saturday morning.

Here are the opening-round games for the tournament, with the games appearing in bracket order.

King vs. Ayala should be a great opening round game.
Watch out for Murrieta Valley's line-up this year.

Tournament organizers are attempting to schedule other fields which may have better drainage in the event Butterfield Park fields are unplayable.

Congratulations to John Perez's Santiago Sharks for winning the tournament 2-1 over an extremely tough Riverside Poly squad. The Poly Bears took a 1-0 lead in the first inning that they held until the bottom of the 7th inning. Poly retired the first two batters in the inning and were down to their last strike when Leahy blasted a home run to left center to tie the game. The next batter walked prior to a double into the gap, bringing home the winning run. Great game to watch. Both teams performed magnificently.
