SM Blaze Dismemberment

by SoCalParents » Wed Jul 28, 2010 8:04 am

Is it really true, that the SM Blaze 10U and 12U teams are breaking up and leaving to other organizations becuase of the league organizer? Wow they both were really good teams. Both went to Utah and placed 4th for the 10u and 3rd for the 12u. If this is true thats too bad for the girls and parents.

I heard the team organizer held a team meeting in which he robbed all the parents and tied them to trees before he left.

It is a shame what these people do to families. Those 2 teams were so good; they deserved better.

This happens after Triple Crown every year - Parents and kids go on a softball vacation and play some "B" ball. They ride the ponies and zip lines etc and then come back and start looking for a better coached ASA National driven team.

I had heard that Blaze was merged/absorbed by a local baseball org and 10U split with SoCal Gamers. Either way, this is very common this time of year and you see a lot of org movement before try-out season.

Thats too bad. was looking foward of bringing my daughter out for tryouts with the Blaze 10u team. I heard they had 4-5 excellent core girls that could of stayed down another year.

Dismemberment.......sounds bad
