Best Coaches for Exposure??

by AZ Bomber » Sat Aug 21, 2010 8:06 am

Who are the best coaches in AZ for helping gain college exposure? I realize the team name, team strength, and schedule of tournaments play probably the largest role. What I want to know, is on top of that, what coaches actually go to work for the kids? Who has the most connections, who has the time, who has the passion, to help every kid/parent with their dream?

I dont think you can go wrong with anyone on that list. Phil feliccia is a good coach as he had a great season in 09 with the 94 Cats, and this year with the 96 Stealth and I know that he works hard for all players that ask for his help whether they play for him or another team. but those are 14u teams so not sure how many kids he has helped to get into any school. I wish more coaches worked as hard as Phil, and the other coaches on this list. AZ softball would be in a much better place.

There are a few notable coaches in AZ that have a long track record of getting their girls exposure (Gatti, Davis, Dickson), but its hard to imagine anyone has placed more players than Storm and Rick Beach. All of their players from last years Gold team are on their way to reputable schools, and it looks like Rick has a good start with his next group.

I hear he did a great job with his 16u team getting them recruited. Many families must owe him big.
