Pretty Funny!!!

What's on your mind?

by Cookie » Fri Mar 07, 2008 10:48 am

Saturday morning I got up early, put on my long johns, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour.

There was snow mixed with the rain, and the wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day.

I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'

My loving wife of twenty years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that crap?'
I still don't know if she was joking...
I'm not driving....

Heh, nice. That sounds like something my wife (of 16 years) would say :)
Proud fastpitch, baseball, volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc. Dad :)

Easy Donnie. Why do you suppose your wife lets YOU go fishing?

This is no joke but my wife wanted to have Guns N Roses' "Used to love her (but I had to kill her)" play as we walked down the aisle. Her parents were not amused when they heard.

"I had to put her, six feet under and I can still here her complain"

You guys could have went with "You're all I need" by Motely Crue. It's equally twisted but not as noticable to the casual listener. Johnny Cash has some good ones too. :D
"And as I watch you disappear into the ground
My one mistake was that I never let you down"

:o Sheesh... Seeing the pic of Nikki Sixx and the boys made me wonder:
Where are my earth shoes, Angel Flights, eight tracks and my chillum...
man o man... where have all the good times gone.. ( NO, not a VH reference?) :)
BTW, what was the saying about remembering the 70's... anyone remember? :)

I thought Motely Crue was the 80's....wait some of it's coming back to me. I guess it was the very end of the 70's when I first started listening to head banger music. AAAAHHHHH Old Motely and Old Ozzy, those were the days (it's all kind of a haze).

If the 70's are remembered, how good of a time were they really having?
