High School or Travel ?

Funny video. Georgia HS coaches talking about TB and HS ball. Three of them were absolutely clueless. Talking about:

a) many college coaches coming to their games.
b) players being better off shunning TB and rather playing different sports throughout the year.
c) not needing TB to get recruited....the HS coach claiming to do skills videos and contacting colleges....who would see them play when?
d) players getting burnt out.

Even Coach Hightower from Heritage, though he seems OK with TB, requires voluntary workouts for his players during the summer.

What was interesting to me is that no HS coach I have ever seen or spoken to will give credit to a players TB background for developing that player's skills. Not surprising...you won't hear an 18 Gold coach talk about it either.
