Very true, I remember checking out DD2's glove, seeing it needed to be replaced, called around, asked around, what is the best glove for middle infielder, pitcher-fielder, and I bought it, gave it to her for birthday or something. She looked at it, "that sucks", and never wore it.

My DD use a Mizuno baseball glove (global elite) when she plays infield and a Mizuno softball glove for outfield.

Kelley makes a very high quality womens glove at a reasonable price. My daughters used them from travel through college.

My DD has used a Nokona since 2011 and loves it. I've tried to get her to switch to one of the above brands with nothing but "hell no!". Nokona seems to have an identity crisis, changing logos and glove names all the time, The glove is very high quality. Ive relaced it twice and it still holds its shape.

Always keep a ball in the pocket and use NGT to condition it.

My daughter uses a small old Akedema glove. Got it for $10 at a bat store used but really broken in, she loves it and it has done the job for the past 2 seasons...

I've tried to like the A2000s, but I just don't, and neither does my daughter. That said, there are LOTS of good gloves out there, and once you get to a certain level of quality, it comes down to personal preference.

My daughter's current fielder's glove is a Worth Liberty Advanced. I'm also a big fan of the All-Star Vela series gloves.

Trying to resurrect this thread: Anyone have thoughts about this type of glove for playing 3rd Base? A friend's DD plays in a top league with quality players. I know It's pricey AND a baseball glove....but....????

Get with BAM2 on here...Higher quality gloves cost more...
Have some old school Nokonas that are still in good shape...Vinci's are great, but every manufacturer has a higher quality line...
Thing about gloves, cheaper=breaks in faster, doesn't last, More expensive (better leather) takes a while to break in=lasts longer...
As far as size for an infielder, 11.5-12 IMHO is best, all an infielder does is stop it more than cradle the ball
