DD emptied her closet and began to dismantle her "shrine" :( She said this showed the last 15 years of her life. Jersey's from TB, REC etc..... I can't look.......

This was the "Shrine"

I would love to see other "Shrine" examples!

Sniff, sniff... Feels like somebody is cutting onions in my house after reading your post. My DD has a few years to go before dismantling hers (hopefully!)

Here is her's (a couple of basketball trophies found there way in there) minus some that her little sister stole when she wasn't looking.

Thanks for the share. Makes me appreciate the time with her even more to get the reminder that it won't last forever.

This is great, thanks for sharing Jon.
I wish my kid saved her stuff.
Every time she comes home for the summer, she goes through her stuff and I find a bunch of old jerseys, On Deck camp t-shirts, etc in the goodwill pile.
All her trophies are in boxes.

Crap, I still have all star shirts from 10u tournaments in my dresser. I guess I will have to make my own shrine ,but I'm sure it will be dismantled by other family members, meaning my wife.
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

Arto:

Very impressed that you can still fit into your 10U tournament shirts!

It took my dd over a day to take down her stuff off of her apartment walls when the season ended and she moved out. I showed her this thread and mentioned to her that it was too bad she didn't take a picture of her bedroom. She said, no worries, she is recreating it in a month in her new apartment. LOL If she can, it is as much a shrine as I have ever seen.

I was blown away by the quantity of stuff she saved. Besides the uniforms, trophies, game balls etc. She has accumulated a large number of tournament t-shirts- Then you add all the workout, practice and warm-up stuff from colleg- this kid won't need to buy any gear for years!
