does anyone know where to get gloves repaired? The sandlot lady in N CA. is out with a injured back? and just curious if there is anyone else out there?

If you want to do it locally, you might get more responses if you post in the NorCal section.

I don't have any specific recommendations, but there appears to be a place in Martinez:

Ron Fuqua, Sr.
"The Mitt Mender"
1145 San Fernando Drive
South Salinas, CA 93901
(831) 422-4160

This guy is a true craftsman, he's very reliable, and provides a quick turnaround. Also, his price is right!

Occasionally you'll see him at tournaments in Northern CA.

I typically give him a call to tell him I'm mailing him a glove.

I "priority mail" him the glove. Tip: if you "priority mail" in a generic plain box (rather than the standard priority box provided by the post office) it's a lot cheaper (only $5 or $6).

When he receives the glove, he immediately calls and suggests what he'd like to do to the glove (he typically provides you with a couple of options at various prices).

He tells you to send a check in the mail, but doesn't hold up doing the work.

Typically within a day he mails the glove back priority mail.

You might want to look up a local SHOE repair shop, if your glove needs some leather repair and you don't have a official glove repair shop near you.
I took my glove to a local REDWING shoe shop.
