Scout-softball

What's on your mind?

by SoftballDad210 » Sat Nov 22, 2014 8:21 pm

Does anyone have any personal exprience with Scout-Softball? It is a camp like On Deck where they do all the independant evaluations, measurements, and filming of the workouts and games for coaches to stream 24/7 365. They seem to run a pretty good evaluation, the fact that they post real game footage along with the skills workouts makes it a cann't miss tool in recruiting. They are changing the format of the program to invite only or players already in their database that they deem worthy. They say it is to allow for more attention to those athletes in the system and provide a better exprience for the coaches and prospective players. We've done the events in the past and were pleased with the results as far as being able to see who has watched the showcase along with who has visited DD's personal page. With that said we have seen some intrest from schools that use this service. My questions remains how much was due to our efforts between all the other showcases, emails, questionaires or was it truly the extra push from this service. The list of schools that use the service and the success rate of the kids in the database seems legit. Any thought???? :D

My thought is the OP looks more like a poorly-disguised ad than a legit discussion starter...

A Texas 'recruiting' site. And a Texas homer OP. Poorly-disguised, indeed.

Discussion starter or ad why not just answer the question. It sounds like he was using his own experience and asking if anyone else ever used the service. I've looked into this Scout thing for my own DD. Has this forum really turned into trolling OP's rather than being helpful. I looked at their site they hold events all over the country so looks more than a Texas thing. I Guess if it's not OnDeck, RTA, MyFit or any other silent partner of the bucket the trolls will bash it. The OP was asking if it was a good investment for his DD since this site is supposed to be about the game and helping kids reach their goals. Must be to much to ask from some of you guys. Now that I've opened myself up for trolling go ahead. 210 don't pay these guys any attention if it's work for you so be it.
