OnDeck... is it a good thing or a waste of time?

We had great experiences with the Allisters and On Deck.
My kid went to the National camps in 2009 and 2010, and the Zoom into June camps in 2010, and 2011.
Her college coaches saw her at the 2011 Zoom into June, followed her in Colorado a couple weeks later, and offered her after that.
She is now a junior in college.
This past spring, at a tournament in Vegas, I saw Derek Allister and said hi.
He remembered my name, my kid's name and although he was busy, chatted with me for a while about her college experience. Both he and his wife Joanne are some of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met through softball.
