New Easton Torq?

What's on your mind?

by BAM2 » Wed Sep 10, 2014 11:51 am

Hey Pale,
I actually got my hands on it while at .....College a couple weeks ago. Kinda funky. Heard all the stuff it's supposed to do. Take some of the mechanical errors out of hitting. Hitting coach there didn't like it very much, where as one of his power hitters love it. So...... IF your DD is hitting it 198' maybe instead of the weight room or hip turn, faster bat, they can just spend 400 and get the green Mako..

That bat reminds me of the other 1,000 gimmicks people buy online to improve their hitting. Why not just get in the cage and work on your swing instead of having all those once used "toys" sitting in the garage collecting dust. Geeeezz this stuff kills me...

Reminds me of all the golf gadgets one would find at a golf store to improve a faulty swing  How does the saying go? A fool and his money are soon parted.
But hey, good luck with that.

DD and I saw one at Homerunmonkey a few weeks ago. I assume the rotating grip runs on bearings - how's that going to hold up long term when infield dirt starts finding it's way into the mechanicals?
