The two tournaments are on different weekends which will allow a school to play in both.

Mar 6-8 for Tournament of Champions

Mar 13-15 for Nike HB

Actually, according to CIF you are only allowed a certain amount of games a season. Usually more than two and participating in the preseason games is enough without being in violation. I guess it depends on how many preseason game you sign up for.

That is correct. The limit in the North Coast Section of CIF is 24 games, plus CIF playoffs.

The real variable is how big your league is, because that dictates how many games you HAVE to play. We are in a 10 team league, so 18 of our 24 games are pre-ordained. Throw in one tournament (4 or 5 games), and you might have only 1 non-league game.

But a school in a 6 team league would have only 10 pre-committed games, and could play two tournaments and a bunch of non-league games as well.
