Lightest cleat

What's on your mind?

IMO - In addition to being lightweight and affordable, Mizuno also has one of the best footbeds available. The cross trainers are also very good and the closest feel to the actual cleat making it nice for indoor hitting/pitching (if that matters to anyone else but us).

Dd uses the Watleys and loves them. She's also used the Under Armour, liked them, but the bottoms outlast the top, they come apart @ the stitching.

We went with the Watley SS G2. With a couple of modifications we were able to get them down to 7.6oz. For grins I took the inner padding out and got them down to 7oz. flat. DD prefers to have them in though. She's only worn them a couple times and seems to like them pretty well. Thanks for the info everyone!

I had my DD wear a soccer cleat up until about age 14. There is no toe protection with those.

I don't know about youth, may just be adult sizes???

Team Anderson 97 has these cleats and everyone says how light they are.

One of these days, I am going to find someone with a stash of the Watley interchangeable cleats. They closed them out a year or two back at ~$20 and they were great!

DD had several pair - I should have bought one in every size...
Being from NorCal, what do I know anyway???
