So far changing everyone's hitting mechanics is not happening!
the coach addressed the topic again at practice with the parents and players. I was told by a parent that nobody responded during the meeting but after the meeting....
apparently a few parents told the coach we're not changing our daughters hitting because it's working for her.
other parents seemingly are just ignoring the coaches request.
nobody has changed their hitting instructors. a couple girls who did not have hitting instructors are trying to take on the coaches suggestions.
the parent I spoke with said that some of the parents were chatting amongst themselves about it. And commented if the coach really wanted to make a difference with their hitting, he should plan more work on hitting instead of change them with a big question mark whether or not that will even help.
