I just ordered my daughter the new Scorpion Schutt gear. My 13 YO daughter loves it. It is cut to fit the girls nicely. The foam is dead, breaks in the foam knock the ball down in front and is as light as the Comfort Lite.

I was concerned with the leg gaurds as well. My daughter loves the because they are sleek and not bulky.

Big Mamma's a lefty. Played catcher and 1st base through high school. My BDD can't stand the position so she plays 1st, but absolutely you can be successful.

Don't measure your ability by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability!!!!
