Yes, she was blocking the plate and I am sure the dirt flying and how fast she was coming in was part of the reason she was safe. It was a funny pic of the outfielder, wasn't it???

In the pic with the RF and the arms crossed, I think I can see 1B, just standing, too. She should have been in to back up the throw.
