Yeah, well I had to search through 4 years of travel ball & rec ball pics just to find those 2, timing, maybe. Lucky... more like it! :ugeek:

So did you time the picture or did you use continuous shooting to get those. Those are what I am trying for.

My other shot that I wanted was to get my pitching kid in the 'K' and using continuous shooting I got 6 or 7 of those in one inning.

I shoot with a canon 30D gets 5 fps. I recently used an EOS 1d Mark III, gets 10fps, the results are like a mini video. I have plenty of the k position, since the pitchers always have similar form and batters aren't always hitters I think the pitcher in the K position is a little easier to pull off than bat on ball...

Awesome shots, Big daddy, did you get those with continuous or with timing the shot?

I use a Canon Rebel XTi and a 55-250mm Image Stabilizer lens, but it is all timing the shot.

Are those shooting through the back stop or do you have the camera up against the fence ?

I am usually against the fence or further down the base line if the fence is shorter there. I have tried shooting from the stands and making the fence less visable by adjusting the f-stop, but the shots are never as clear.
