Maybe the bats was bent

I saw another picture like that someone posted, very odd

I've seen an explanation for how that bat looks somewhere on the net, something about how the camera processes the information from top to bottom (or something like that, not my area of expertise), which can make objects that are moving quickly appear bent like that.
