DD1 and DD2

In her 2nd game, DD2 broke the school rbi record with 8 rbis in one game, a grand slam, a 3 run homer and a single. More importantly, she aced her first semester with a perfect 4.0. DD1 is leading in ba for now and she has decent grades , had a 4.0 going into the last week, but lost her focus slightly during finals week.

This is one of the best sports pics I've seen. It transcends sports and gets to heart of what really matters...family!

I witnessed these two do this exact same thing in LF when the UTSA lead-off hitter turned her ankle at first base this past Wednesday.

Having worked a few of their games both last Fall and this Spring, I have been very impressed with their play and the way they carry themselves on the field. You should be proud indeed.

The last three years have taught them the power of prayer. Their brother will be attending their D/H tomorrow against A&M Corpus - he is their 'miracle' of prayer progressing nicely from his injury.

FYI, don't look at their stats now. They are on a 11 game slump. The two are putting in tons of time studying and trying to figure out how to fix it - going out after practice , using the boys hitting cages. DD2 did pretty well this weekend, 3-9 with a hr (the only run scored for the weekend, wow) but the girls have never lost like this in their lives - DD2 has never been on a losing team in her life, until this year, DD1 has been, once. Life lessons for my ladies. Like they say, the only real loss is to quit trying to get better.

Topper, thank you very much. I appreciate the compliment and they do too.
