12u Hall of Fame Tournament 2012

My daughter's team placed 4th at the Hall of Fame Tournament in OK City and thus qualified for nationals; however what she will always remember is playing on the same field that the WCWS is played. She loved her name on the scoreboard and hearing her name being called out over the PA system by an announcer. I have to admit, I loved it too so I made a video for the team. There were so many memorable moments, including a pop fly to my daughter's eye which resulted in an ER visit. She only missed the rest of that morning's game and was back out there that afternoon.

I know travel ball has its drama but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I can't think of many things I love more than watching my daughters play the sport they love!
